Atlanta taking 3 out of 4 from the Mets after the All-Star Break is the end. Phillies are rolling, and it just isn’t happening this year.

According to the Pirates, the Mets have “Zero Class”

Yea, we sure do have “Zero Class”, but not because Beltran said the Mets getting swept by the Pirates was embarassing, but because the Mets getting swept by the Pirates is embarrasing.

Beltran is right on, we are way better then the Pirates. Just this week, the pirates traded away their best player, Nate McClouth (who happens to be on my fantasy team and now I have to drop him because he is on our bitter rival the Braves), like they do every year. They have not had a winning season since like Bonds left to get closer to his Steroid supplier.

So we already have a rivalry with:

Yankees
Phillies
Braves
Marlins
& to a lesser extent a few others like the Red Sox

but now we get to add a new one with the NL Central Perpetual Doormats. And nothing gets a sub .500 team interested in playing their absolute best more then a rivalry against a big city team.

btw, we lost on Saturday to the NL East Perpetual Doormats by a lot, 7-1. That is also embarrassing. I know I can’t wait to get back to NY.

Seriously, it could happen.

Embarrassing someone like that is just plain wrong. Especially Tom Glavine who you owe a World Series Championship to and 5 National League pennants.

If I was Tom Glavine, I would finally say it, Fuck the Braves. They just cut you unexpectedly, after you have been rehabbing to get back, after you got surgery, after you signed a minimum contract to help the team.

They deserve it.

And you would look better in blue.

Jose Reyes sure isn’t Charlie Hustle

Because if he was he would have been on third base and not gingerly walking into second. The fact the game was tied and in extra innings should have made hustling around the bases automatic.

CitiField Streaker Propels Mets to Come From Behind Victory

A nearly naked fan with “Lets Go Mets” streaked across the diamond and slid into 2nd base. The streaker only wore a stuffed animal that wrapped around his package like a thong, much to the pleasure of the 39,000 fans of this fan. Despite being arrested, the first CitiField Streaker sparked the Mets to come from behind late in a game for the first time this year.

Mets now own the Braves.

Carlos Beltran made lots of things happen, which he has been doing all season long.

Maybe David Wright drank some of that secret formula too? He finally broke out of his slump with a home run of his own.

And nothing is better then drinking the Kool-Aid against Atlanta…in Atlanta.
