This is huge news for Mets fans as Jason Bay was one of the top two free agent hitters available this off season.

Jason Bay should help hit the long ball and some extra base hits when he finds the gaps. His speed helps as well and we could be looking at over 20 stolen bases from Jason Bay this season.
